This spunky little Chi is around 8 years old. She is a sweet girl who enjoys cuddles on the couch, pets and walks. Miley has history of living in a home with another dog and would be able to go home with another small, calm dog. Cats are cool with Miley! Miley can be nervous around new people and sometimes will bark at people approaching her. Because of this Miley would do best in a home with a family that will go slow with her and let her warm up on her terms. Munchkin
Hey there, I’m Munchkin! I am an Australian Shepherd around 8 years old. When I came to PARL my fur was very matted so they had to shave me, so I could start growing some long healthy locks. Unlike most other Aussies, I like to spend most of my time being a couch potato! I would do best in a home with an adopter who can help me get to a healthy weight and maintain a relatively active lifestyle. Teens and adults only for me, as I can be a sensitive lady at times. I like dogs, so a home with another calm dog would be great for me. I could potentially go home with a dog savvy cat as well. I could be the best addition to your family! Come meet me today!

Meet Carlito! He was part of a group of pups transferred up from Texas. Carlito is a big lover boy who loves toys and food!! (the finer things in life) Carlito gets overly excited around other dogs - we would like him to go home without one. We do feel he has potential to be a great play partner with some work! Teens and adults best for him as he has shown some fear of new people. He comes around rather quickly with some patience and yummy treats! No cat history, so no cats please.

Meet Tyga! If he had to pick one quote to describe himself it would be “age is just a number”. His favorite things include tennis balls, walks and getting lots of attention. He has tons of energy and could use some work with his basic obedience skills. He is looking for a home with no cats and older children. A dog roommate might be okay. Hazel
Meet Hazel! This 6 year old cutie is currently in a foster home while she awaits an adopter. Hazel loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you for belly rubs! She recently recovered from a surgery on one of her ears (a Total Ear Canal Ablation) as a result of chronic ear infections. As of right now, Hazel does not need surgery on her other ear and she is doing well on daily medications. Potential adopters should know that Hazel is deaf, will require medication throughout her lifetime, and may need additional veterinary care in the future. She would love an adults-only home and gets along well with other dogs! If you're interested in Hazel, please give us a call and we can schedule a time for you to meet her.

Meet Peluche! This 13 yr old senior is looking for a nice family and a warm bed or lap to nap in. He could possibly live with another small calm dog and possibly a dog savvy cat. Peluche came in with a history of chronic ear infections so adopters should be willing to continue treatment for him in the home. Older dog savvy children could be a good fit if they are understanding that his ears can be painful at times. Come by and meet him today!

Meet Remi and Indi! These guys are both 3 years old and seeking a home together. They can be shy at first and may take longer than average to adjust to a new home, but we promise it'll be worth the wait! Once they feel comfortable, they'll be happy for some attention. We'd say these guys are Secret Admirers - "When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me but I'll be thinking a lot of you!"
