Providence Gay Men's Chorus Presents “Rights of Passage” at Greenwich Odeum
The Providence Gay Men’s Chorus is topping off the 2019 concert season with a performance of “Rights of Passage.”
“This year is an iconic and historic year for the LGBTQ community as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, considered the birth of the modern LGBTQ movement. The PGMC honors Stonewall’s 50th anniversary by musically celebrating the milestones achieved in the LGBTQ movement that were only possible because of the trailblazers who first stood up for their rights. Join us as we celebrate all of the things that unite all of our hearts, minds, and communities through song,” said artistic director Kim Kuda.
The performance will take place at 7 p.m.

Marisol at Trinity Rep
The Obie Award-winning play was first produced in 1992. Its themes remain relevant to contemporary audiences trying to make sense of a world they don’t recognize.
The fantastical and surreal story centers on Marisol Perez’s attempt to find hope among the ruins when she wakes up one day to find her reality displaced by the effect of a war between God and the angels.
