Mandy Patinkin in Concert: DIARIES, presents the acclaimed actor/singer/storyteller in his most electrifying role: concert performer.
DIARIES is a marriage of many of Mandy’s favorite Broadway and classic American tunes, along with selections from his newest recordings on Nonesuch Records, Mandy Patinkin Diary January 2018 and Mandy Patinkin Diary April/May 2018.
From Randy Newman to Stephen Sondheim, from Harry Chapin to Rufus Wainwright, Mandy Patinkin takes you on a dazzling musical journey you’ll never forget.

WaterFire Salute to Veterans
WaterFire is set to host its 7th annual Salute to Veterans on Saturday.
The Opening Ceremonies begin at 4:00 p.m. at the RI State House with a speaking program led by Kasim Yarn, Director of the Rhode Island Office of Veterans Affairs.
Following the speaking program, 150 Veterans will march from the State House steps to Waterplace Park Basin led by the Rhode Island Professional Firefighters Pipes and Drums.
The lighting will take place on Saturday, November 2 starting at sunset (5:39 p.m.), with the fires staying lit until 10 p.m.

RI Comic-Con at RI Convention/Dunkin' Donuts Center
Rhode Island Comic-Con returns to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center and Rhode Island Convention Center this weekend.
This year’s show features actors such as Chevy Chase, William Shatner, Lou Ferrigno, and more.
Plus, tons of comic book vendors and cool costumes.
Comic-Con is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Livingston Taylor at Courthouse Center for the Arts
He picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, which began a 50-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting, and teaching. Born in Boston and raised in North Carolina, Taylor is the fourth child in a very musical family that includes Alex, James, Kate, and Hugh.
Taylor recorded his first record at the age of 18 and has continued to create well crafted, introspective, and original songs that have earned him listeners worldwide.
In February 2019, Livingston released “The Best of LIVe – 50 Years of Livingston Taylor Live”. This album features 11 song selections from his upcoming “LIVe – Livingston Taylor Live” Box Set.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo
Sunday is the final night of the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo.
Feast your senses on autumn’s beauty, winter’s swirling snow, spring’s first blossoms and summer’s ocean breezes intricately carved on thousands of pumpkins displayed along the Zoo’s beautiful Wetlands Trail.
