38 Young Artists To Show at Brown's Bell Gallery

The David Winton Bell Gallery and the Department of Visual Art at Brown University are presenting the work of 38 young artists in its 31st annual Student Exhibition, on view from Saturday, Feb 26, through Sunday, March 13, 2011.
Students submitted work in all media, including painting, sculpture, animation, and photography. Subtle portraits, obsessive constructions, abstract studies, and organic forms touch on topics from pop culture and recycling to urban decay and natural landscapes. The exhibition is open to all Brown students, offering them the valuable experience of showing their work within a professional setting. It also provides the Brown and Providence communities an opportunity to view works by talented young artists.
