Great International Beer Festival
Saturday The Great International Spring Beer Festival is back and bigger than ever! The 7th annual Spring Beer Festival will feature unlimited sampling of beers from more than 250 brewers, live music, food, and more. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, the Rhode Island Horticultural Society, and the Providence Rotary Foundation Charities. 1-4:30pm, 6:30-10pm. Second Annual Yogathon, Pawtucket
Saturday Stretch out the stress this weekend with Shri Studio’s 2nd Annual Yogathon. The all-day event features different yoga styles, instructors, video presentations, free snacks, and live music. From a Vibrational Gong Bath to Chakra Yoga: Knowing Ourselves and Finding Balance, there’s a little taste of everything for all levels of interest and experience. Proceeds from the event go to Shri Service Corps, a non-profit providing free health and fitness yoga classes to shelters, schools, and community centers. Saturday Narragansett Chapter of Trout Unlimited is hosting a special children's day to teach young anglers the art of fishing. Friday-Sunday Celebrate food this weekend with a three-day long event featuring gastronomical specialties from across the state. Friday, check out Truck Stop: A Festival of Street Eats, featuring over 10 of Providence’s best food trucks, with everything from tacos to smoothies and clam cakes. Proceeds benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.Saturday meet local food producers in a Eat Local panel, meet winemakers and learn about New England wine growing, and check out local breweries and meet RI brewing pros.
