Wednesday-Sunday Don’t miss Washington County Fair, Rhode Island's largest authentic county fair and agricultural event. There will be daily concerts, Nashville stage entertainment, carnival rides, exhibits and displays, arts and crafts, games and more. Rock 'N' Roll Marathon
Sunday At the 2012 Rock 'N' Roll Providence Half Marathon, runners and spectators will love the upbeat atmosphere with live performances along the 13.1 miles route. This year at the finish line, don't miss the Billboard chart-topping pop duo Karmin. Throughout the morning, local bands will perform a variety of music from alternative to classic rock, punk, funk and blues. RI high school and middle school cheer and dance teams will also provide spirit along the course. Locations throughout Providence, Karmin performs at the State House finish line.

A Weekend of Coaching
Thursday-Saturday A Weekend of Coaching is a celebratory three-day renewal of historic tradition. Authentic 19th century coaches drawn by teams of four horses participate in a series of daily drives and demonstrations. Drive through the streets of Newport to enjoy free viewings of the century-old sporting tradition. Approximately a dozen coaching teams will come to Newport from around the country. There will also be a free driving exhibition on the grounds of The Elms starting at 10:30am on Saturday morning. Locations throughout Newport. Call 847-1000.
29th Annual Clambake At Rose Island Lighthouse
Saturday Bring a big appetite for another delicious and entertaining clambake feast. The menu, served in courses starting at noon, includes New England clam chowder, garden salad and homemade corn bread. The bake includes steamers, mussels, Portuguese & Italian sausages, hot dogs, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, herbs and butter, corn on the cob, seasoned fish and optional lobster.
