About The Show

“Pain and Such”
Crenca says the early work makes references to the spine and the inner parts of his body that were damaged.

“As we progress they become more complex more abstracted, you still see image teeth and images of pain,  I’m interested in design and how these read as composition, so there are patters and rhythm within the work,” Crenca says.

The later pieces evolve into color and turn much brighter as Crenca used pen, ink, acrylic and some gold leaf.

The pop-up gallery is located at 82 Weybosset Street in Providence across from The Arcade. The opening is free from 5-8 PM.

After the opening, "Pain and Such" will run through March 2017, and is can be seen through appointment by contacting: [email protected].
