Castle Hill Inn & Newport Star in Latest “Real Housewives of New York” Episodes

The Castle Hill Inn in Newport — along with the Black Pearl and Clarke Cooke House — have starring roles in the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of New York.

The Bravo show that aired this week showed the women lodging and dining at the luxury Newport hotel before heading into town, in an episode that was shot last fall. 

“Thank you to the cast and crew of the Real Housewives of New York City for featuring the magic of the Castle Hill Inn. We can't get enough of the current episode and look forward to more Newport adventures in the next!” wrote the Castle Hill Inn on Facebook.

The next episode that airs is expected to continue to follow their Newport vacation. 

Among the Housewives in Newport was Luann de Lesseps, who has been known to sport Rhode Island jeweler Nicole Romano’s creations.

Rhode Island’s “Local” Tourism Coming Back

The Castle Hill Inn reopened on May 16 for lodging guests only; the Black Pearl is reportedly reopening for outside seating. 

Earlier in May, Discover Newport President and CEO Evan Smith said that he believes it will take “one to two years” for the tourism industry in Rhode Island to come back from the coronavirus crisis -- but that regional travel will lead the way first. 

In a wide-ranging appearance on GoLocal LIVE, Smith spoke to the immediate challenges — as well as opportunities moving forward.
