It's gonna be fierce.

And now's the time to get your tickets. On August 20, the Furry & Fabulous Summer Fashion Show hits the runways at Club Aqua at the Providence Marriott.

The non-furry portion of the evening will feature a preview of an international design collection from Sonya's Boutique of Cranston, plus the 2010 shoe collection from Zack Lo of New York, plus Gucci and Dolce & Gabana eyewear from Westside Eyewear.

But: let's be real. What you're going to love is the second part of the evening: a red carpet strut by a set of four-legged divas, courtesy of Park Avenue Puppy's, as well as a special segment by Furry Friends Pet Care.

Make it the perfect night by taking over one of Aqua's cabanas, shop the designers, and settle in with a cocktail from one of the event's cash bars. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and you can take over a cabana with your five best girlfriends for $150 (and get a complementary bottle of wine). A portion of the proceeds benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League, and tickets can be purchased through Park Ave Puppys at 464-8800, or online through Eventbrite or Furry Friends.
