Newport's beauty has never been a secret in Rhode Island, and now the digital images website Pulptastic.com has named it the 6th most beautiful place in the world to live.

"There are some places that look almost too good to be true," the article opens. "The colorful and picturesque buildings, gorgeous weather, and seemingly blissful landscapes are enough to make us dream. But these places do exist, and there are many people that are fortunate enough to live there." 

Newport is the behind only Savannah, Georgia, among U.S. cities in the rankings.  Photos for each of Pulptastic's 19 most beautiful cities were included with the rankings, and Newport looks to be in esteemed company.
