Newport Democrats Endorse Magaziner for General Treasurer

The Newport Democratic City Committee has endorsed investment professional Seth Magaziner for General Treasurer.

A graduate of Brown, Magaziner resides in Bristol and has made his career as an investment professional.  Newport is the 6^th Democratic Town Committee to endorse him for General Treasurer.

Magaziner currently faces former RI General Treasurer Frank Caprio and former RI Auditor General Ernie Almonte in the democratic primary in September.

Magaziner Accepts the Endorsement

“I thank the Newport Democratic Town Committee for their endorsement,” said Magaziner.  “As Treasurer, I will use my track record as a private sector investment professional to bring a steady hand to our state’s finances and focus on programs that will get the economy growing and create jobs for Rhode Islanders.”
