Rhode Island’s Olivia Culpo — former Miss Rhode Island USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe — is engaged.

On Friday, Culpo shared via photos that boyfriend Christian McCaffrey, who is a star running back for the San Francisco 49ers, popped the question.

The photos are dated April 2, 2023, and appear to be from a recent trip of Culpo and McCaffrey's to the southwest.

Culpo, who grew up in Cranston and attended St. Mary’s - Bay View in East Providence, won the Miss Universe title in 2012.

She previously dated former New England Patriot Danny Amendola.

Culpo, who boasts over 5 million followers on Instagram, is an owner of the restaurant Back 40 in RI.
