The annual Christmas on the Parkway celebration took place on Sunday afternoon at Pleasant Valley Parkway in Providence.

The event was hosted by Council Majority Leader Jo-Ann Ryan.

"I love to put on this event for my constituents every year. It is a holiday tradition that brings the whole community together," said Ryan

The event went from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and featured Christmas music, drinks and a visit from Santa.
