"Premier" Providence Club Announces New Security Staff and Management

A nightclub in Providence has announced new management — and security — following an incident at the venue last fall. 

In October, a musical act that was booked at Fete in Olneyville took to social media to lash out at the club and its hired security, who they said spit in their crew’s faces.

On Friday, Fete — which describes itself as "New England's premier live music venue — announced the following:

"Fete Music Hall is excited to announce the beginning of a new era. From the beginning, our goal has been to have a positive impact on the Providence art and music community. 

We have partnered with The Tarian Group to provide safe and respectful security staff for concerts and events going forward.

Additionally, we would like to introduce our new management team - including Lonny Davis and Leslie Medeiros. 

This is just the start of what we have planned for our little corner of Olneyville. Stay tuned for more announcements."
