Both the Pawtucket and Providence Clubs are among the first operating Boys & Girls Clubs in the country, established as two of the original 53 founding members of the "Federated Boys Clubs" in 1906. Today, the Boys & Girls Clubs in RI total seven organizations with Clubs also in Cumberland, East Providence, Newport, Warwick and Woonsocket. Collectively, they provide educational and recreational opportunities in safe, nurturing environments to more than 20,000 members and their families statewide.
