Save the Date - Providence Porchfest Returns in June

In only its third year, it has become one of the city’s most popular events - and Providence Porchfest is now on the calendar for 2025.

The event that “brings friends, neighbors, and community together around music. Any kind of music. On any kind of porch.” is scheduled for June 7.

Currently, Porchfest organizers are looking to connect musicians who want to play - and residents who want to host them.

2024 Event Drew Thousands

As GoLocal reported last year:

Tens of thousands attended the 2nd annual Porchfest in Providence on Saturday.

The free, family-friendly community event once again brought music and friendship to the East Side in a series of outdoor concerts hosted on neighborhood porches.

There were more than 60 concerts across the neighborhoods.

GoLocal's award-winning photographer Richard McCaffrey was there to capture three local music stars, Mark Culter, Beth Baron, and Chris Monti.

They were just a handful of performances among dozens that drew thousands at locations across the city.
