This RI Celebrity is at Center of Latest Kardashian Controversy

The members of the Kardashian family are no strangers to controversy.

Now, a Rhode Island celebrity — Shanna Moakler — is at the center of the latest one. 

Moakler, a Barrington High School graduate, competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant in 1992 representing Rhode Island, and in 1995, became Miss USA.

She married -- and divorced -- musician Travis Barker — who is now dating Kourtney Kardashian. 

Cue the drama. 

“Why Shanna Moakler Says Ex Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian Destroyed Her Family,” reported Yahoo this week along with multiple entertainment outlets on the fight. 

"My family is broken because of this family, and now my kids and I are alienated from each other because of another sister in the family, so yay for me... Thanks for destroying my family twice,” Yahoo reported Moakler as saying, and continued with the following:

Yikes. The other sister she's referring to is none other than Kim Kardashian herself.

So, here's the tea on that. Last week, Shanna went on! the! record! saying that Travis had an affair with Kim when they were married.

She told Us Weekly that she was “never” friends with the Kardashians because “I divorced my ex because, I saw them—I caught them having an affair.”
