Twenty One Pilots to Play Dunkin' Donuts Center in January

Twenty One Pilots will kick off the new North American leg of their "Emotional Roadshow" Tour on January 17 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 13. 

The tour kicks off on May 31st at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

The Providence show will be the bands first show of 2017.

Twenty One Pilots 

Twenty One Pilots was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2009 and consists of members Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. The bad put out two self releases albums in 2009 and in 20011 before being signed by Fueled by Ramen in 2012. 

Since then, they have put out two signed albums including their last one, "Blurryface," which was released on May 15, 2015. The album sold more than 134,000 in the first week and consisted of the single Stressed Out which reached number tow on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on both Alternative and Hot Rock songs. 

Their newest single "Ride" has spent 6 weeks atop Modern Rock Charts, while the music video has over 40 million views on YouTube. 

Prior to that, the band released their first studio album titled Vessel, which featured these songs Holding on to You, Car Radio and House of Gold. 

The band has been nominated for a number of awards at this year's Billboard Music Awards including Top Duo/Group, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album  and top rock song. 

The Billboard Music Awards are set for Sunday, May 22 at Las Vegas.
