Born in Italy, Armando Bisceglia, manager of Zooma Trattoria, maintains deep connections to his family heritage. Bisceglia will preview the La Vigilia menu at Zooma and explain how he pairs Italian wines with each course. He’ll also discuss traditions he grew up with and how they play a role in the holidays at the restaurant.

Giulia Corpolongo, the manager of Pane E Vino and Massimo, is a native of Italy and is working alongside her cousin Joe DeQuattro, the Owner of both restaurants. Corpolongo will discuss the Italian traditions she shares at the restaurants this time of year and what the La Vigilia menus will be.

Zac Bishop, Cultural Director of the Holy Ghost Church, has a unique perspective on Italian holiday traditions and will provide an overview of the origins of La Vigilia. Founded in 1889, The Holy Ghost Church was the first Italian parish in the Diocese of Providence.
