94 HJY Radio Personality Kevin Mulhern Writes Children’s Book

Local radio personality Kevin Mulhern, producer and on-air talent of The Paul and Al Show on 94 HJY, has published his first children's picture book, "Cody the Cloud."  The book is about a cloud, Cody, who can't make it rain, and a boy who tries to encourage him to realize his inner gifts.  The book is geared toward children ages 3-8, and is about to enter its second printing following its release this past January.

Mulhern says, "The message of the book is an uplifting, positive one about believing in oneself, the importance of treating others with tolerance, compassion and respect and not bullying others, and the power of friendship and love to literally transform the world."

A portion of all proceeds from any book purchased on the book's official website, CodyTheCloud.com, is going toward various local charities to help children in need, including Hasbro Children's Hospital, Special Olympics Rhode Island, the San Miguel School in Providence for under-privileged youth, and anti-bullying groups, among others.
