Providence Police Make Underage Drinking Arrests at Black Sheep - Latest After Melee & 7-Day Closure
The action comes after the bar had been recently ordered shut down for seven days by the Board of Licenses.
As GoLocal first reported, on February 23, over 100 people were involved in a “large disturbance” at Black Sheep, and a beer bottle was reportedly thrown at an officer. Police say bar security was “uncooperative” during the incident.

The Board however provided a carve-out to let Black Sheep open for the PC game on March 1.
Latest Arrests
On Saturday, the Providence Police License Bureau conducted a compliance check at the bar and said there were two arrests for “possession of alcohol by underage individuals.”
Black Sheep's attorney Nick Hemond did not respond to request for comment at time of publication.
