Chafee Announces Pick for Investment Commission

Governor Lincoln Chafee has chosen Paula M. McNamara as a member of the Rhode Island State Investment Commission (SIC). The group, which is in charge of investing state funds, has ten members, chaired by General Treasurer Gina Raimondo.

“Paula McNamara brings a broad range of investment experiences to the State Investment Commission,” Governor Chafee said. “Her financial knowledge has been formed across the spectrum of private, online development, and education sectors. Paula will be a valuable addition to this important commission.”

McNamara is a Brown University graduate who has worked at Fidelity Investments for over 20 years, most recently as Senior Director of Client Services Development in Smithfield. She currently serves as the President and Administrative Officer for the Murray Family Charitable Foundation.
