City of Providence to Host Prescription Drug Take Back Day

City of Providence to host prescription drug take back day.
The City of Providence has announced a subscription drug take back day.

“Turn in your old or unused prescription/non-prescription drugs, with no questions asked. These drugs will be collected and destroyed properly. Everyone who participates will be entered into one of four raffles for a $25 Walgreens gift card,” says the City in their press release.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at four different locations across the state.

The locations are as follows:

  • Walgreens Pharmacy: 533 Elmwood Avenue       
  • Walgreens Pharmacy: 1 Pocasset Avenue  
  • Walgreens Pharmacy: 1140 N. Main Street    
  • Providence Public Safety Complex: 325 Washington Street
