NEW: Patriots' Edelman Facing 4-Game Suspension for Performance Enhancing Drugs

Julian Edelman is facing a four game suspension for performance enhancing drugs
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The suspension is currently under appeal. 

If it is upheld, Edelman would miss games against the Texans, Jaguars, Lions, and Dolphins.

He would be eligible to return in week five against the Indianapolis Colts. 

Edelman With Patriots 

Edelman missed all of the 2017-18 season after tearing his ACL in a preseason game against the Lions. 

Over his career, he has hauled in 425 catches for 4,540 yards and 24 touchdowns in 103 games.

Edelman has been on the field with the Patriots during mandatory offseason workouts this week.
