CVS Health CEO Larry Merlo is joining the First Lady as a guest at the 2015 State of the Union address in Washington, DC on January 20.  A White House press release cites CVS's move to eliminate tobacco sales in all 7800 of its stores and the company's name change to CVS Health in the announcement.

The press release also cited how CVS trains pharmacy technicians through apprenticeship programs, offers scholarships to future pharmacists, and engages diverse students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math careers, along with establishing programs to hire long-term unemployed workers and create summer jobs for youth.
