Safe and Furniture Allegedly Stolen by Realtor in Barrington at Faxon's Former Estate

According to the police, the homeowners selling the house at 85 Nayatt Road -- Andrea McDonough and David Goulden -- alleged that LeRoux stole ten chairs from the property and that she also took a safe out of the home.
After police inquired about the incident with LeRoux's attorneys, the items were miraculously returned.

As GoLocal first reported last week, LeRoux, the President of Link Real Estate, was the realtor for the sellers of one of the most expensive houses in Barrington.
The house -- which was originally built for PGA golfer Brad Faxon before he sold it in 2014 -- sold for $4,587,500 last month.
The sale, the highest price in Barrington since 2014, was announced in early May and just days later, LeRoux was charged with felony larceny.
Police Report Reveals Allegations
According to police, the homeowners were scheduled to close on May 7, and they “left items behind, mostly furniture, for the new buyers, and some items for her long-time house cleaner."
The homeowners then asked LeRoux to take photos of her checking the safe, as well as the furniture left behind, according to the report.
“[LeRoux] wrote in her witness statement that she received a text message from [Goulden] asking her to check a built-in safe to confirm there was nothing left in it,” wrote Barrington Police Sergeant Benjamin Ferreira in his report first filed on June 4.
Here is a timeline of activity as contained in the report by Ferreira — who spoke with the homeowners and obtained a witness statement from LeRoux.

LeRoux said she took a video of herself placing the batteries in the safe and opening it.
“[LeRoux said] she sent the video to Goulden to confirm no items were left in the safe," wrote Ferreira.
"LeRoux stated she then texted [Goulden] letting him know of the trash and the furniture in the garage and asked if the items were going to be removed before the closing. [Goulden] responded by asking her to take a photo and that the house cleaner was taking the trash out and taking the furniture," he continued.
“LeRoux stated she already left the house and would return to take the photo…she said she went back at approximately 6:45 and took a photo, but forgot to send it,” according to the police report. “[The housekeeper] stated she arrived at the residents at approximately 7:30 PM and noticed the items in the house and garage were missing.”
Further Allegations of Theft - And Return of Items
According to police, Goulden texted LeRoux to return the missing items as they belonged to the housekeeper. LeRoux said in her written statement to police “she had no idea what he was talking about.”
The following day, on May 6, the housekeeper told police she returned to the house where she found items missing from an office above the garage -- which included the safe.
According to police, Goulden said “whoever took the safe had access to the inside of the safe” — and that LeRoux "was the only person who had access to the house who knew there was a safe hidden there.”
On Saturday May 8, lawyer Larry Signore “arrived at police headquarters with the "stolen ten chairs and one black safe," according to police.
Realtor Charged
On Wednesday May 12, police made arrangements with LeRoux’s attorney Kevin Salvaggio to have LeRoux interviewed.
Salvaggio told police Signore would not be available but wanted to be present during the interview.
“I then provided two more dates for an interview and no response,” wrote Ferreira in his report.
Ferreira presented an arrest warrant to Judge Patrick O’Neil later that day; Leroux was arranged in 6th District court on one count of felony larceny over $1,500 on June 1.
Salvaggio did not respond to GoLocal’s request for comment.
