Realtor Involved in $4.5M Sale of Barrington Estate Charged with Larceny

Less than a month ago Tracy LeRoux, the President of Link Real Estate, was the realtor for the sellers of one of the most expensive houses in Barrington —  the home at 85 Nayatt Road. The house sold for $4,587,500.

The sale was the highest price in Barrington since 2014.

The sale of the house was announced in early May and just days later, LeRoux was charged with felony larceny after a complaint was filed by her real estate clients — the sellers of the home.

LeRoux not only runs a real estate agency but also an advertising and marketing firm.

According to real estate records, the home was owned by David Goulding.

Specifically, the reported larceny took place on May 5, and Leroux was arraigned on June 1 according to Rhode Island court records.

LeRoux next faces a pre-arraignment conference on September 8.

LeRoux’s attorney Kevin Salvaggio declined to provide comment regarding the charges.

According to the announcement of the sale of the property, it is one of the most impressive properties in Rhode Island's most affluent community and it was built by one of Rhode Island's most noted professional athletes.

“Situated on nearly four waterfront acres, the home was originally built by professional golfer Brad Faxon. The chateau-style home offers over 12,000 square feet and features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. The home is located in close proximity to Rhode Island Country Club, local marinas, and the Barrington Yacht club,” according to the description of the property.
