On Saturday, there was WaterFire's basin lighting, a holiday market, and a visit by Santa. Throughout the weekend, it was an opportunity to experience new multimedia installations and to enjoy live ensemble performances presented by Firstworks.

There was this wonderful opportunity to stroll downtown and enjoy illuminated art experiences by The Avenue Concept.

Add other activities like the crowd for the URI and PC game, add a little great weather, and it was extraordinary.

To all the groups including the Providence-Warwick Convention and Visitor's Bureau, it was a wonderful victory for innovation and the city.

It was Providence at its best.
