Free Information Session on Naturalization Process

Officers from the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) Providence Field Office will host a free information session for those interested in learning how to prepare to become a United States citizen on Saturday, December 11. The session is sponsored by the Rhode Island Citizenship Consortium which consists of these agencies: Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative, Progreso Latino, The Diocese of Providence, Immigration & Refugee Services, The Genesis Center and International Institute Rhode Island.

USCIS officers will be available to answer questions and address concerns, while educators from the Consortium will be available to provide information on where and how to study for the English and civics examinations.

The session will be held Saturday, December 11 from 10am–12pm at William Hall Library, 1825 Broad Street, Cranston. For information call 401-421-7833 ext. 132
