About Incident

Police were called to College and South Main Streets for a report of a car accident shortly after 9 AM Wednesday morning.

According to police, Nugent told officers that after getting into a minor accident, a man -- later identified as Luis Marrero, age 33 -- open his car door in an aggressive manner and began yelling at him.

Nugent said Marrero then slammed his car door, hitting him in the arm, while continuing to shout at him.

Two females then reportedly approached Nugent shouting obscenities at him, later identified as Jaelynn Porter and Sakiesha James.

Witnesses provided statements to police.

Porter and James have been charged with disorderly conduct; Marrero has been charged with felony assault.
