Get ready, Rhode Island - there is more snow in the forecast.

After a Friday storm that prompted a winter weather advisory by the National Weather Service (NWS) - there is currently potential for snow Christmas week.

According to NWS, snow is possible Monday and Tuesday - Christmas Eve.

The following is the National Weather Service forecast as of Saturday 7 AM.

Partly sunny, with a high near 30. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight

Mostly clear, with a low around 11. Northwest wind around 8 mph.

Sunday

Sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as zero. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night

Clear, with a low around 9. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday

Sunny, with a high near 27. Calm wind.

A chance of snow, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
