NEIT Receives $155K Grant from Champlin Foundation For High Tech Labs

The New England Institute of Technology received a grant of approximately $155,000 from The Champlin Foundations to purchase high tech laboratory equipment for the school's Medical Laboratory Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology programs. The grant was announced on Monday by Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost. The Champlin Foundation was established in 1932 as a philanthropic organization which provides grants for education, hospitals, healthcare, conservation, social services, and cultural groups.

Sherman stated, “This Grant will allow New England Tech to further enhance our high-tech laboratories giving students the opportunity to learn the necessary skills required in their field of study utilizing cutting edge equipment.”

New England Institute of Technology was founded in 1940 and offers associate, bachelor's, and masters degrees in over 40 business and technical programs. There are currently over 3000 enrolled students.
