Coronavirus Hospitalizations on Rise in RI — Watch Raimondo 1 PM Press Conference

The Rhode Island Department of Health announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state are now at 107 — a more than 10% increase over 94 reported on Tuesday. 

10 people are currently in the ICU.

The state conducted 9,524 tests on Tuesday and reported 145 new cases. The “percent positive” average is up week-over-week from 1.2% last week, to 1.5% this week. 

New cases per 100,000 by week is up from 71 last week, to 92 this week.

The state has now reported 25,524 positive cases since testing began in March.

In total, 838,482 tests have been conducted.
