This comes on the heels of the announcement on Thursday that Trump’s top staffer Hope Hicks had tested positive for the virus.

At about 4 AM the Melanie Trump tweeted, “As too many Americans have done this year, @potus  & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. There is still no official statement by the White House.

Trump's infection coupled with his travel schedule will trigger contact tracing for hundreds of individuals.
