A Cranston diner owner speaks out about Fung campaign ad shot in diner in Ohio
A Cranston diner owner expressed his "total surprise" when he learned that Cranston Mayor and gubernatorial candidate Allan Fung shot his recent "Open for Business" TV ad at a diner in Columbus, Ohio.

"When I first heard and saw that, I thought, you've got to be kidding me," said Manny Diaz, who owns John's Hot Weiners on Park Avenue in Cranston.  "Never once has Mayor Fung set foot in here. I could throw a baseball and hit his office, I'm that close."

As GoLocal first reported, Fung's "Open for Business" ad was shot at Tommy's Diner in Columbus, OH. 

"I've been here eleven and half years...never seen him in here," said Diaz.  "So I was very surprised to see him go do that in Ohio."

"Business is slow," said Diaz.  "I don't blame that on the Mayor, I blame it on the economy.  But that's what I'm dealing with."
