RI Records 93 Coronavirus Deaths in Past Week - Hospitalizations Jump to 461

Rhode Island has now recorded 93 COVID-19 fatalities in the past week, bringing the state's death total to 1,484.

On Wednesday, the Rhode Island Department of Health reported 14 additional deaths, as well as 1,232 new positive cases.

Hospitalizations have jumped to 461, with 42 people in the ICU. 

On November 10, the number of hospitalizations in the state was at 220. 

At 3 PM on Wednesday, the House of Representatives Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccine is scheduled to meet virtually at 3 PM  to discuss vaccine distribution efforts with executives from CVS.
