Snow Hits RI - 2 to 5 Inches Accumulation Possible, Says National Weather Service

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a "winter weather advisory" at  2 PM on Friday for parts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. 

The advisory is in effect through early Saturday morning. 

According to NWS, snow accumulation of two to five inches is possible.

* WHAT...Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, northeastern, and southeastern Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
