Warwick Police Make Arrest in Bank Robbery

Warwick Police have announced they made an arrest related to a recent bank robbery in the city.

At approximately 8:30 AM on Tuesday, Warwick Police said they received a report of a robbery at Harbor One Bank located at 3830 Post Road in Warwick.  Read more here. 

Suspect Apprehended

Warwick Police announced the following on Wednesday:

"With the assistance of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, the suspect was identified.  

Detectives Christian Vargas and Matthew Smith attempted to locate the suspect at an associated address in Warwick which was unsuccessful.  

While returning to the police station at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2022, the detectives spotted the suspect on the patio at Cumberland Farms located at 3335 Post Road in the Apponaug section of Warwick. 

Paul Edward Larson, 60, of East Greenwich, was taken into custody without incident.  Larson was held overnight and will be arraigned at 3rd District Court today on one count of 2nd-degree robbery."
