Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Brown University

Providence Police investigated a bomb threat at Brown University on Sunday night. 

Police noted that Yale University, Cornell University, and Columbia University have all experienced similar types of bomb threats.

Shortly after 5 PM on Sunday, police responded to the campus at Brown for a report of a bomb threat. 

Providence Police met with university officials as well as members of the State Fire Marshal's office, and conducted a search of more than a half dozen buildings. 

Authorities reported that after searching the premises, no items of concern were located.
