Providence Police are investigating the third murder in the past month in the Capital city.

A 20-year-old man was shot outside a Herschel Street home.

Providence Police Major David Lapatin told GoLocal that the Department does not have a suspect in custody.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital

Since the coronavirus lock-down ended violence has spiked in Providence.

But, this is only the fourth murder of the year.
