RI State Police to collect school supplies for Kids, Cops & Classrooms Campaign
The Rhode Island State Police are collecting backpacks and school supplied to help local children through the Kids, Cops and Classrooms campaign.

“We want to ensure that every child in Rhode Island starts the school year with the basic supplies he or she needs to succeed. The Rhode Island State Police is proud to again team with other law enforcement agencies in this effort to help children and families, as well as the teachers and schools in our local communities,” said Colonel Ann Assumpico, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police.

The Kids, Cops and Classrooms program was launched 10 years ago to help families struggling with the financial burden of providing their children with basic school supplies they need.
