RIDOT Meeting on Washington Bridge Tonight at 6 - Here’s How to Ask McKee & Alviti Questions

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is hosting another online community meeting for the demolition of the Washington Bridge on Thursday at 6 PM. 

RIDOT is requiring those who want to take part to pre-register.

The second meeting follows a disastrous eight-minute first meeting on the Friday night before Columbus Day weekend, in which RIDOT officials—led by David Walsh—did not allow for community comment.

This week, Governor Dan McKee — and RIDOT Director Peter Aliviti — said they will be present at Thursday’s meeting for questions.

McKee said at a press conference on Tuesday, in which the state announced yet another procurement process and said there is now no timeline for the bridge rebuild completion.
