See the List - The Top 25 Dangerous Workplaces
Judging by the number and seriousness of OSHA violations issued to 171 businesses between November 2012 and this month, GoLocalProv identified the top 25 workplaces with the most egregious health and safety issues. Businesses are listed if they had at least four violations and are ranked by the amount of the initial penalty that was levied. (Only two businesses that had four violations did not make the cut, based on their penalty amounts.)

About the data: Serious violations are those that could lead to injury or illness. Note that in some cases, the number of initial violations may have been reduced as part of a settlement with OSHA (the same goes for the penalty amount). Cases that are closed are ones in which safety and health issues have been corrected (technically “abated”) and the penalty has been paid off. Cases may be open if a business owner is still paying off the penalty or working on abating the issue that caused the citation. The areas of violation listed are meant to be a highly abbreviated summary, not an exhaustive listing. Penalties reflect the seriousness of the safety and health issues. The higher the penalty amount, the greater the health and safety issues. Businesses are listed starting with those that had the lowest penalties.
