"The Trump administration's recent decision to suspend processing of new asylum applications in Boston is part of its shameful campaign to prevent people fleeing violence from finding refuge in the U.S. If the Trump administration is serious about addressing the humanitarian crisis at our border, it can stop unnecessary and inhumane detention of kids and families, reverse decisions that restrict asylum claims, and invest real money in addressing the crisis in Central America.”
