Race to the Top Money: How Much Did Your Local Schools Get?

The smallest state in the nation won big when it was awarded a $75 million Race to the Top grant in 2010. But how much of that money has made into local schools?

State data shows that some districts have received at least a few hundred thousand, while some have netted millions. Most of the money was distributed on the basis of the federal Title I grant formula, which targets money into districts with the most low-income students. The below funds represent the total amount of money that will go to school districts—not necessarily all of it has been spent to date. Instead, the figures represent the total amount that will be spent between 2010 and 2014.

Recipients are listed by the total amount of money they are receiving, from least to greatest.
