A GoLocal endorsement is that of the ownership of our publication and is completely separate from our news-reporting function.
This year, in our first time offering endorsements, we have taken the extraordinary step of not accepting any political advertising during this campaign cycle.
This is a significant financial sacrifice, but we believe that it is important for maintaining the credibility and rigor of our endorsements.
