Two Stabbings in Providence Overnight
One of the assaults reportedly involved two RIPTA employees; the other occurred on Broad Street.
The stabbings are in addition to a separate incident overnight in which a victim said he was assaulted by a suspect wielding a skateboard.

Shortly after 7 PM on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a stabbing on Longfellow Street - for a report of a RIPTA employee having been stabbed.
Police said that upon arrival that they met with a male victim, who was identified as a RIPTA employee, who had been stabbed in his stomach.
Rescue was called to the scene; the victim told police the suspect in the stabbing was a RIPTA colleague.
Police say they now have a suspect in custody.
Broad Street Stabbing
Providence Police said that just before 1 AM on Thursday, they responded to a report of a stabbing victim at Rhode Island Hospital.
According to police, the victim - a male in his 50s - said he had been parked on Broad Street when multiple individuals approached him, and pulled him out of his car.
The victim told police he was stabbed multiple times and had items stolen.
Police said the victim had multiple stab wounds; detectives are currently investigating.
