Video Mocking Providence Club Ultra's Security After Shooting Goes Viral
Mendez Dez Eli posted the video "Security at Club Ultra Be Like" on Saturday, showing a parody of club patrons being barely checked at security -- with guns -- while a club-goer gets stopped for carrying in a water bottle.
The video as of Wednesday morning had over 100,000 views and 2,700 shares.

The club had previously been shut down in March after two stabbings.

The following was posted on Club Ultra's Facebook page on Saturday, following the shooting.
Good Afternoon,
As many of you may have already heard there was an incident at Ultra the Nightclub. Ultra has been a part of the nightlife scene for over a decade and consistently hosts great events with thousands of people annually without incident. It is always our intention to provide the public with quality entertainment while hosting a safe venue. The incident is currently an open investigation and details are not yet clear. This incident is not a reflection of the great people in attendance, unfortunately it only takes one miscreant without morals to ruin the event for everyone. We would like to wish the victim a speedy recovery and thank the first responders for their prompt and professional response. Public safety is always in the forefront for us and anything we can do to assist in this investigation we will do. To ensure that the police have a thorough investigation Ultra will remain closed for the evening.
