VIDEO: Newport Police Release Body Camera Footage of Wedding Brawl

A series of videos from body camera footage released by Newport Police in response to an Access to Public Records request by GoLocal show new views of the melee that took place after midnight Saturday on Bowen's Wharf in Newport.

One man can be seen repeatedly punching an officer.

A woman can be seen trying to kick an officer in the groin.

The previous video released by GoLocal earlier on Monday shows the brawl from other angles. SEE HERE

In the YouTube video above, the physical interaction appears to begin when one member of the wedding party refuses to comply with Newport Police and is detained -- and then escalates when one of the women falls backward.
