Cranston's Mike “Ziggy” Giles shared the adorable video of his daughter Zaya scanning the aftermath of the storm and sharing her recap of what happened.
Apparently, according to Zaya, there was an unsubstantiated report of a unicorn involved; there was also a big "squish."
GoLocal spoke with rising star Zaya's father on Friday morning.
“We live in Eden Park [and] this was the most intense storm we've experienced in the 6 years we've been here,” said Giles. “We've had a few unique-looking storms roll in this year, but this one came in much faster and with a lot more intensity. We knew the moment the wind picked up that we'd likely lose power.”
“We huddled on the couch with [our children] Zaya and Jalen, watching it all unfold. Afterward, we walked the neighborhood to assess the damage and to make sure everyone was safe. One of the neighbors lost a large tree,” Giles continued.
And Zaya had lot to say about it all.
“Zaya is an amazing storyteller, so she immediately began crafting a story from everything she had seen,” said Giles. “Pasha (my wife) and I just love watching her imagination at work. She's so creative, smart, and fun to listen to!”
